The project “Archimedes Wind Turbine with Solar Hybrid Model for DC Load Application” presents an efficient renewable energy system that integrates solar and wind power sources to ensure continuous DC power generation. The system employs a solar panel and a wind turbine with a dynamo to generate electrical energy, which is regulated through a charging circuit and stored in a rechargeable battery. The stored energy is utilized to power DC loads such as LEDs. In situations where both solar and wind sources are unavailable, the system automatically utilizes grid power through a step-down transformer to charge the battery, ensuring uninterrupted operation. The setup incorporates three voltage sensors to monitor the voltage levels of the solar panel, wind turbine, and battery, with real-time readings displayed on an LCD module. A PIC microcontroller, programmed in Embedded C, serves as the central control unit, managing voltage sensing, display operations, and system coordination. This hybrid configuration enhances power reliability, promotes efficient utilization of renewable resources, and demonstrates a sustainable solution for off-grid DC load applications.
