Military operations require advanced surveillance and threat detection systems to enhance security and situational awareness. This project presents a Multipurpose Military Robot based on the ESP32and ESP32-CAM, integrated with multiple sensors for real-time surveillance, threat detection, and remote monitoring. The robot is designed to operate in both autonomous and manual modes, making it suitable for applications such as border surveillance, reconnaissance missions, hazardous area exploration, and remote military monitoring.
The ESP32-CAM module provides live video streaming for real-time remote surveillance. A PIR sensor detects unauthorized movement, triggering alerts, while an MQ-series gas sensor identifies hazardous gases. A flame sensor detects fire or high-temperature zones, activating the alert system. The GPS module tracks the robot’s real-time location, ensuring precise monitoring. Additionally, a metal sensor is incorporated to detect metallic objects, including weapons and landmines, enhancing safety in military operations. A buzzer provides immediate audible alerts when a threat is detected, ensuring quick response and also robot will send the alert information to the user remotely like sensor status and location details. The system is remotely controlled via a web-based interface, allowing operators to monitor and maneuver the robot from a secure location. By integrating IoT capabilities, this robot offers a cost-effective, scalable, and highly efficient solution for modern defense and security applications.
