The aim of this project is to construct an intelligent system, capable of selecting active phase from three phase supply. The system continuously monitors all the phases of the supply and switches ON the single-phase load from the active phase. If three phases or two phases is active, the system automatically selects any one of them. If all the phases are inactivated, at that time load will be automatically OFF and the Buzzer beeps for alerts. This system consists of GSM module to send the alert SMS about activate phase.
The main controlling device of the whole system is an Arduino NANO Microcontroller. Single phase selection circuit, LCD and Relays are interfaced to microcontroller. Microcontroller continuously monitors three phases and selects the active phase from the input fed from single phase selection circuit. The selected active phase will be supplied to the load through relays connected to Microcontroller. Microcontroller displays the phase information on the LCD screen. By using this system user can know the activate phase status through SMS using GSM.
The objectives of the project are:

- The system consists of a single-phase selector circuit that monitors all three phases (R, Y, B).
- The monitored signals are fed into the Arduino Nano microcontroller, which makes the decision based on availability.
- If the main phase fails, the controller automatically switches to the next available phase using relay drivers and relays.
- LED indicators and LCD display provide visual indication of which phase is active.
- If all three phases fail, the system activates a buzzer alarm for immediate notification.
- The integrated GSM module sends SMS alerts to the user’s mobile phone about the status of the power supply (phase availability or failure).
- Thus, the system ensures continuous power supply and quick alerts during downtime.
