This project provides an advanced vehicle anti-theft security system using Raspberry Pi 3 and facial recognition technology for authorized access control. It detects unauthorized users, activates alerts, sends GPS location through GSM, and ensures enhanced vehicle safety in real time.

The main aim of this project is to provide high security for vehicles to prevent vehicle theft using Raspberry Pi 3 and face recognition technology. The system uses a Pi Camera interfaced with the Raspberry Pi to capture the image of the person attempting to access the vehicle. The captured image is compared with the stored database images for authentication. If the face matches, the Raspberry Pi activates the electromagnetic relay to unlock the vehicle door and starts the vehicle engine represented by a DC motor. Push buttons are provided to enrols new faces and delete existing faces from the database for easy user management. If the captured face does not match the stored images, the system identifies the person as unauthorized and activates a buzzer alarm along with an electric shock protection mechanism. Simultaneously, the Raspberry Pi obtains the vehicle location using the GPS module and sends alert messages containing latitude and longitude details to the vehicle owner through the GSM module. The current status of the system is displayed on an LCD display. The Raspberry Pi 3 acts as the main controller, interfacing with all input and output modules, while the SD card stores the operating system, facial database, and project files.
