In modern urban environments, efficient parking management is essential to optimize space utilization and ensure smooth vehicle flow. This project proposes an IoT-based smart parking system that employs RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology for automated gate control. The system uses an RFID reader to authenticate vehicles with registered RFID tags, ensuring only authorized users can access the parking area. Additionally, infrared (IR) sensors detect available parking slots and update real-time slot availability on an LCD display and a web interface. A NodeMCU microcontroller processes the data and controls a servo motor to open or close the gate automatically upon successful authentication. This smart parking system enhances security, reduces manual intervention, and provides real-time parking availability updates. The integration of IoT allows remote monitoring and data analytics for better space management.

The features of the project are:
  1. IR sensor based vacant slots detection.
  2. IOT based vacant slot monitoring system.
  3. visible alerts using LCD display.
  4. RFID based gate controlling.
The major building blocks of this project are:
  1. Adapter Power Supply
