HVS-4704. Human detection and Surveillance robot using Raspberry pi zero 2w

14,500.00

This system integrates autonomous sensing with remote surveillance, making it ideal for home security, restricted area monitoring, and intelligent surveillance applications.

This project introduces a compact and cost-effective Human Detection and Surveillance Robot utilizing the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, Pi Camera, ultrasonic sensor, DC motors, and a motor driver module (L298N). The robot is designed to autonomously detect nearby objects using the ultrasonic sensor. When an object is detected within a predefined distance, the robot automatically halts to avoid collisions. Upon detection, the system enables remote control via a web-based interface, allowing the user to manually navigate the robot and monitor the environment through a live video stream from the Pi Camera. The DC motors, controlled via the motor driver and interfaced with the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, provide movement and directional control. This system integrates autonomous sensing with remote surveillance, making it ideal for home security, restricted area monitoring, and intelligent surveillance applications.

The objectives of the project include:
  • To detect human presence or obstacles using an ultrasonic sensor.
  • To stop the robot automatically upon detection.
  • To enable manual control via a web-based interface.
  • To stream live video using the Pi Camera for surveillance.
The major building blocks of this project are:
  • Battery
  • Raspberry pi zero 2w.
  • DC Motors with L298N driver.
  • Pi camera.
  • Ultrasonic sensor.
    Software’s used:
