The aim of the project is to construct a metal detector. The system is capable of alerting through buzzer in case of metals in its presence.

The aim of the project is to construct a metal detector. The system is capable of alerting through buzzer in case of metals in its presence.   The main controlling device of the project is Arduino nano. Metal sensor, buzzer is interfaced to the Arduino nano microcontroller. When the metal sensor detects the metal, this data process to the Arduino nano then Arduino nano will activate the buzzer for alerts. To achieve this task microcontroller loaded program written in embedded C language.

 

The features of the project are:
  1. Construction of metal detector.

The major building blocks of this system are:
  1. Battery Power Supply.
  2. Arduino NANO.
  3. Buzzer with driver.
  4. Metal sensor.
