This project aims in providing a user friendly, reliable system which is capable of detects the vehicles that are close to our vehicle on four sides. Four IR sensors are pasted on four sides of the vehicle. so, the IR sensor detects the vehicle that comes close to this vehicle at any side and displays a side name on the LCD.   The main controlling device of the project is Arduino microcontroller. Four IR sensors, LCD display and Buzzer is interfaced to the Arduin microcontroller. Arduino will continuously read the vehicle presence through IR SENSOR. IR sensors detect the vehicle and pass this information to the Arduino, then and display the side name of the detected vehicle on the LCD along with buzzer for alerts. To achieve this task microcontroller loaded program written in embedded C language.    

The main objectives of the project are:  

• Automatic detection of four sides vehicle from our vehicle.
• detects and displays the presence of that side vehicle to the vehicle.
• IR sensor-based vehicle presence detection.
• Visible alerts using LCD display.
• Audible alerts using BUZZER.

• Embedded C programming.
• Arduino ide studio programmer for dumping code into Micro controller.
