The project aims in designing an energy monitoring system for loads using NodeMCU. This system can monitor the voltage, current and power values of 12V LED into the thingspeak cloud along with date and time using IOT technology also this can monitor the same data on LCD display.
The controlling device of the whole system is a NodeMCU module. The ESP8266 based NodeMCU development board. It is an open-source platform for developing Wi-Fi based embedded systems and it is based on the popular ESP8266 Wi-Fi Module, running the Lua based NodeMCU firmware. One of the easiest ways to program NodeMCU is via the Arduino IDE
The main controlling device of the project is NodeMCU. The NodeMCU as inbuilt Wi-Fi module so, it can send the load parameters into the thingspeak cloud wirelessly. User can access this device using mobile from anywhere in the world. In this 12v LED as load which we connect the NodeMCU module through voltage and current sensors. To achieve this task NodeMCU module is loaded program written in embedded C language.
The objectives of the project include:
Â
