The main aim of this project is to design a scalable pattern prototype grass cutter which is controlled from android Bluetooth application using mobile phone.

We present an Bluetooth based automatic robotic system which is used for cuttingĀ  grass or lawns, mostly healthy grass which needs to cut neatly like in a public park or a privateĀ  garden.

The purpose of this proposed project is to design a programmable automatic pattern design grass cutting robot with solar power which no longer requires time-consuming manual grass cutting, and that can be operated wirelessly using an Android Smartphone via Bluetooth from a safe distance which is capable of cutting the grass in indeed required shapes and patterns; the cutting blade can also be adjusted to maintain the different length of the grass. The user can press the desired pattern button from the mobile application, and the system will start cutting grass in the similar design such as a triangle and rectangle. The solar cells that you see on calculators and satellites are also called photovoltaic (PV) cells, which as the name implies (photo meaning "light" and voltaic meaning "electricity"), convert sunlight directly into electricity. A module is a group of cells connected electrically and packaged into a frame (more commonly known as a solar panel), which can then be grouped into larger solar arrays. The microcontroller moves the robot motors in forward, backward, left and right directions with the help of DC motors which is interfaced to the microcontroller along with l293d motor driver. There is one more motor which is interfaced to the microcontroller with relay driver and which uses to cut the grass as required shape such as triangle and rectangle.  

The main objectives of the project are:  
  • Designing of a Scalable grass cutter.
  • Using solar energy to operate the grass cutter.
  • Using Bluetooth application to give the required shapes.
  • To perform this task, Microcontroller is loaded with an intelligent program written in embedded ā€˜C’ language.
