The purpose of this project is to build A WI-FI controlled robot is controlled by using smart phone. When a metal gets detected, it gives a buzzer alert. We can control the robot using smart phone through iot required task like moving forward, reverse, turning left, turning right and stop. This consists of a Microcontroller based control system, battery powered DC motors ,To perform the task, Microcontroller is loaded with an intelligent program written in embedded ‘C’ language. The controlling device of the whole system is a Microcontroller. Wi-Fi module, Metal detector sensor, DC motor along with driver, buzzer with driver is interfaced to the Microcontroller. The data received by the Wi-Fi module from Android smart phone is fed as input to the controller. The controller acts accordingly on the robot movement, when the metal detector sensor is detected by the metal, this is fed as input to the microcontroller then the microcontroller gives the alert through buzzer. In achieving the task, the controller is loaded with a program written using Embedded ‘C’ language.  

The main objectives of the project are:
  1. Designing of a real time Robot
  2. Wireless communication using IOT.
  3. When Robot detects the metal, we get the alert.

  2. Interfacing metal detector to the controller.

  1. PIC-C compiler for Embedded C programming.
  2. PIC kit 2 programmer for dumping code into Micro controller.
  3.  Express SCH for Circuit design.
