The main aim of this project is to develop a Bluetooth-controlled solar-powered grass cutter that can reduce the effort and time required for manual grass cutting. The proposed system is operated wirelessly using an Android smartphone through a Bluetooth application, allowing the user to control the grass cutter from a safe distance. The robot uses DC motors for forward, backward, left, and right movement, which are controlled by a microcontroller through an L293D motor driver. A separate DC motor is connected through a relay driver to operate the grass-cutting blade. The cutting mechanism is designed to cut grass efficiently and maintain a neat lawn surface. A solar panel is used to charge the battery and provide renewable energy for operating the system, reducing dependence on conventional electrical power. The system is suitable for gardens, lawns, parks, and other grass-covered areas, providing a simple, economical, and eco-friendly solution for grass cutting.

The main objectives of the project are:
  1. To design a Bluetooth-controlled grass-cutting robot.
  2. To control the robot using an Android mobile application.
  3. To provide forward, backward, left, and right movement.
  4. To operate the grass-cutting motor using a relay driver.
  5. To use solar energy for charging and powering the system.
  6. To reduce manual effort and time required for grass cutting.
  7. To develop an eco-friendly and low-cost grass-cutting system.
The major building blocks of this project are:
  1. PIC Microcontroller.
  2. DC motors with driver.
