HVS-2144. Automatic Drain Cleaner Using Solar.

18,000.00

The Water Level Based Automated Solar Drainage Cleaning System is designed to automate the process of removing floating waste from drainage channels, thereby eliminating the need for manual cleaning and reducing the risk to sanitation workers.

The Water Level Based Automated Solar Drainage Cleaning System is designed to automate the process of removing floating waste from drainage channels, thereby eliminating the need for manual cleaning and reducing the risk to sanitation workers. In conventional drainage systems, blockages caused by plastic bottles, bags, leaves, and other solid waste can lead to water overflow, pollution, and health hazards. Manual cleaning of such drains is time-consuming, unhygienic, and often dangerous. The proposed system uses a water level sensor to continuously monitor the level of water in the drainage channel. When the water level exceeds a predefined threshold, a PIC microcontroller activates a relay that drives a DC motor. The motor operates a belt or chain mechanism fitted with teeth or scoops, which lifts the floating waste from the drain and deposits it into a waste collection container. Once the water level returns to normal, the microcontroller automatically switches off the motor, reducing unnecessary power consumption. The entire system is powered by a solar photovoltaic panel and a battery charging circuit, making it energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and suitable for remote locations. The proposed system helps prevent drain blockages, improves sanitation, reduces maintenance costs, and ensures safer operation by minimizing human involvement in drainage cleaning activities.       Objectives:
  • To automate the drainage cleaning process.
  • To detect the water level in the drainage channel.
  • To start the motor automatically when the water level is high.
  • To remove floating waste from the drain using a belt or chain mechanism.
  • To reduce manual labor and improve worker safety.
  • To use solar energy for operating the system.
  • To prevent drainage blockage and water overflow.
  • To provide a low-cost and eco-friendly drainage cleaning solution.
