The main aim of the project is to monitor the temperature humidity and smoke levels in an industry. The system gives the voice alerts when there is abnormal rise in temperature, humidity and smoke levels.   Automation is the most frequently spelled term in the field of electronics. The hunger for automation brought many revolutions in the existing technologies. The industrial/home automation techniques employed must be economic and simple to use. By analyzing all these factors, this advanced industrial home automation is proposed.   The main controlling device of the whole system is a PIC Microcontroller. DHT11 (Temperature and humidity) sensor, smoke sensor, LCD display and APR33A3 voice module is interfaced to microcontroller. The microcontroller continuously gets the temperature, humidity and smoke related data from the respective sensors. This data is processed and compared with threshold point set in the program. The Microcontroller alerts the user through voice, if any of the parameter is above threshold and also data can be monitored on LCD display. To perform the task, Microcontroller is loaded with an intelligent program written in embedded ‘C’ language.          

The main objectives of the project are:  
  1. Continuous monitoring of temperature and humidity.
  2. Continuous monitoring of smoke level.
  3. Alerts through voice, if the parameters are above set threshold level.
  4. Visible alerts using LCD display.
         

The major building blocks of this project are:  
  1. Regulated power supply.
  2. PIC Microcontroller.
  3. DHT11 sensor.
  4. Smoke sensor
  5. LCD display with driver.
  6. APR33A3 VOICE module.
  7. Reset
  8. Crystal
  9. LED indicators.
         

Software’s used:  
  1. PIC-C compiler for Embedded C programming.
  2. PIC kit 2 programmer for dumping code into Micro controller.
  3. Express SCH for Circuit design.
