This project presents a Heart Beat and Body Temperature Monitoring System for elderly people using a microcontroller. The system continuously measures the patient's heart rate and body temperature using a heartbeat sensor and temperature sensor. The measured values are displayed on an LCD for real-time monitoring.
If the heart rate or body temperature rises above or falls below the preset safe limits, the microcontroller activates a buzzer to provide an immediate alert. This enables timely medical attention during emergency situations.
The system is simple, portable, reliable, and cost-effective, making it suitable for home healthcare, hospitals, and clinics for continuous health monitoring.
