The Single Phasing Preventer for Protection of Three-Phase Loads is a protection system designed to safeguard three-phase motors and industrial equipment from damage caused by single phasing or phase failure. The system continuously monitors the current in all three phases (R, Y, and B) using current sensing circuits. If any one of the phases fails or becomes unbalanced, the sensing circuit detects the fault and immediately deactivates the relay, disconnecting the three-phase load from the power supply. This prevents overheating, motor winding damage, and equipment failure caused by operating under single-phase conditions. The system provides reliable, fast, and automatic protection, making it suitable for industrial motors, pumps, compressors, and other three-phase electrical loads, thereby improving equipment safety, reliability, and service life.          

The main objectives of the project are:  

  To detect single phasing or phase failure in a three-phase power supply.

  To automatically disconnect the three-phase load during a phase fault using relays.

  To protect three-phase motors and electrical equipment from overheating and damage.

  To improve the safety, reliability, and lifespan of industrial three-phase loads.

  To provide a simple, fast, and cost-effective protection system for three-phase applications.

  1. Three Regulated Power Supply Boards.
  2. 3-phase power sensor.
  3. Three Relays.
  4. Three Bulbs.
  5. Three switches.
