This smart automation solution provides a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective approach for next-generation digital libraries.

The Advanced Real-Time Library Automation using Raspberry Pi system is designed to modernize traditional library operations by integrating embedded systems, IoT, and automated security mechanisms. The system is built around the Raspberry Pi 3B+, which functions as the central processing unit to manage database operations, web services, and hardware interfacing.

In this system, RFID technology is used for user authentication and book issuing/return processes. Each user is provided with an RFID tag, enabling seamless and fast transactions. A Pi Camera connected to the Raspberry Pi scans QR codes placed on books for quick and accurate identification. All book and student details such as Roll Number, Book Name, Issue Time, Return Time, and Pending Status are stored and managed through a web-based application hosted on the Raspberry Pi. An LCD display provides real-time status updates such as successful issue, return confirmation, or pending alerts. The web portal allows users and administrators to browse books, reserve titles, monitor inventory, and track transaction history remotely.

To enhance security, an advanced theft detection mechanism is implemented at the library entrance. An ESP32-CAM is installed at the gate section to scan QR codes of books during exit. If a book’s details are not found in the central database or if it has not been officially issued, the system identifies it as unauthorized. The ESP32-CAM module communicates with the main Raspberry Pi system through a wired connection. Upon detecting an unissued book, the system activates a buzzer alert and LED indication, and the gate automatically closes using a servo motor mechanism to prevent unauthorized removal. Conversely, if the book is properly issued and verified in the database, the gate remains open, allowing the user to exit smoothly.

By integrating RFID authentication, QR code scanning, real-time web monitoring, automated gate control, and intelligent theft detection, the proposed system significantly reduces manual intervention, improves operational efficiency, ensures accurate record management, and enhances library security. This smart automation solution provides a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective approach for next-generation digital libraries.

The Intelli Flow Smart Water Dispensing System is an Arduino Uno-based automated water dispensing solution designed to provide secure, accurate, and intelligent water distribution.

The Intelli Flow Smart Water Dispensing System is an Arduino Uno-based automated water dispensing solution designed to provide secure, accurate, and intelligent water distribution. The system uses RFID technology for user authentication, ensuring that only authorized users can access the dispenser. When an RFID tag is presented, the Arduino verifies its validity. If an invalid tag is detected, a buzzer alert is activated to indicate unauthorized access. For a valid RFID tag, the system prompts the user to enter the required water quantity through a keypad.

To accommodate different bottle sizes, the water dispensing pipe can be adjusted manually before dispensing. After the user enters and confirms the desired quantity, the Arduino energizes a relay-controlled water pump/motor, initiating water flow. A flow meter sensor continuously measures the volume of water dispensed and provides real-time feedback to the controller. Once the selected quantity is delivered, the Arduino automatically stops the motor and activates the buzzer to notify the user that the dispensing process is complete.

The system also incorporates an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to upload dispensing data, including water consumption details, to the ThingSpeak cloud platform for remote monitoring and record maintenance. An LCD display provides user instructions and system status, while Bluetooth connectivity enables communication with an Android mobile device. The proposed system offers a hygienic, accurate, secure, and IoT-enabled solution for smart water management in public places, offices, educational institutions, and commercial establishments.

Traffic lights play such important role in traffic management to control the traffic on the road. Situation at traffic light area is getting worse especially in the event of emergency cases.

Traffic lights play such important role in traffic management to control the traffic on the road. Situation at traffic light area is getting worse especially in the event of emergency cases. During traffic congestion, it is difficult for emergency vehicle to cross the road which involves many junctions. This situation leads to unsafe conditions which may cause accident. An Automatic Traffic Light Controller for Emergency Vehicle is designed and developed to help emergency vehicle crossing the road at traffic light junction during emergency situation.

Traffic signals: This project used Arduino Nano controller to program a priority-based traffic light controller for emergency vehicle. During emergency cases, emergency vehicle like ambulance can trigger the traffic light signals to change from red to green in order to make clearance for its path automatically using RFID technology. At traffic signals when the emergency vehicle comes near to the RFID reader, it will read that vehicle tag and identify whether it is normal vehicle or emergency. If the system detects emergency vehicle, it will turn on the GREEN LIGHT to clear the path. After passing the emergency vehicle, traffic lights work in normal mode to clear the traffic conjunction. RFID tag consists of ambulance number and patient health parameters.

Ambulance section: Pulse sensor, temperature sensor, ZIGBEE transceiver and LCD display which is interfaced to the Arduino Nano. Arduino Nano will continuously read the data from sensors will be displays on LCD module and upload this data into the near hospital wirelessly through Zigbee.

Hospital section: Hospital section consists of ZIGBEE transceiver along with PC. HyperTerminal application is used to monitor the ambulance number, driver phone number and patient health parameters.

The main aim of the project is to design a system which is capable of automatically deducting the amount for petrol dispensed from user card based on RFID technology. Liquid dispensing systems are quite commonly found in our daily life in different places like offices, Bus stands, Railway stations, Petrol pumps. Here we are going to present modern era petrol dispensing system which is meant to be operated with prepaid card using RFID technology. The project mainly aims in designing a prepaid card for petrol bunk system and also petrol dispensing system using RFID technology.

Automation is the most frequently spelled term in the field of electronics. The hunger for automation brought many revolutions in the existing technologies. One among the technologies which had greater developments is RF communications. The result of this is the RFID cards which transmit a unique identification number. This number transmitted by the RFID can be read with the help of a RF reader.

We make use of both these devices to construct a prepaid card for petrol station systems based on RFID. The concerned person of the vehicle should initially deposit money in the card using keypad. The RFID reader is interfaced to the on board computer is commonly termed as micro controller. The reader decodes the RFID tag which is with the vehicle and the amount is reduced from the prepaid card and this information is fed as input to microcontroller. The controller reads this input and controller starts operating the dispensing motors until the required amount of petrol is dispensed into the vehicle. The dispensing system forms the output module and is interfaced to the same onboard computer. The input from RFID is also displayed on the Graphical LCD for the acknowledgement of the user.

This project aims in designing a user friendly, automatic shopping trolley and data storing system of the number of goods on trolley in big shopping malls using RFID technology along with cost details and display on the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). The system sends the selected item details along with cost to the billing counter automatically using wireless zigbee communication modules. The system also alerts the shop keepers from being goods stolen using RFID reader which is placed at the exit for the malls.

The RFID reader is interfaced with the microcontroller and RFID tag is attached to each and every good package. When the goods are placed in the trolley the RFID tags attached to the goods are decoded by the RFID reader interfaced to the microcontroller and the information is stored and displayed on LCD. The system automatically sends the selected goods number along with cost onto the PC of billing counter using wireless ZigBee.

The proposed system consists of two sections:

(i) Trolley section (user)

(ii) Billing section

The Trolley section consists of RFID module, Zigbee module, LCD display and microcontroller. The input module is the RFID reader which gives the information of the goods when it decodes the RFID tag of the good, this information is displayed on the LCD along with cost details. The output modules isLCD. The RFID reader continuously checks the placing of the goods package inside the trolley or removing from the trolley using RFID tag attached to it and these details along with the cost is automatically uploads onto the PC section or billing counter section. Costumer will pay the bill through Bluetooth using mobile and send this data like cart no and paid money to the PC using wireless ZIGBEE.

The monitoring or billing section mainly connected with the computer at the bill counter consists of another RFID reader interfaced with microcontroller along with LCD, buzzer modules. The details of selected items along with costs are automatically fed as input to microcontroller using zigbee module and displayed on to the monitor of PC. The RFID reader which is located at the exit section will check the RFID tags attached to the goods have been made hidden with customers and alerts the shop keepers with panic alarming unit. The entire data related to goods are stored in the microcontroller and also displays on LCD.

Purchasing and Shopping at big malls is becoming daily activity in metro cities. We can see big rush at these malls on holidays and weekends. This crowd becomes huge when there are special offers and discount. People purchase different items and put them in trolley. After total purchase one need to go to billing counter for payments. At billing counter, the cashier prepares the bill using bar code reader which is very time-consuming process and results in long queue at billing counter. Our aim is to develop the system which can be used in shopping malls to solve the problem mentioned above.

To implement this project we are using microcontroller, RFID, LCD (16×2) and Buzzer. It will consist of RFID reader. All the items in the mall will be equipped with RFID tags. When person put any item in the trolley its code will be detected and the price of that item will be stored in memory. As we put the items the costs will get added to total. Thus, the billing will be done at the trolley itself. The entire data related to goods are stored in the microcontroller will be displays on LCD along with Buzzer and LED. For detecting different items RFID reader will be used. LCD used will be 16X2 liquid crystal display. It will be used to display item names, item cost and total bill. By using push button, we can remove the items from trolly and automatically that particular item cost will reduce from total amount. The entire system works with a battery power.

The Microcontroller is programmed using Embedded C language which provides effective environment for performing the task of the project. Express PCB software is extracted to design the circuit boards.

This project aims in designing a user friendly, automatic shopping trolley using RFID technology and LCD (Liquid Crystal Display).

Automation is the most frequently spelled term in the field of electronics. The hunger for automation brought many revolutions in the existing technologies. One among the technologies which had greater developments is RF communications. The result of this is the RFID cards which transmit a unique identification number. This number transmitted by the RFID can be read with the help of a RFID reader.

The RFID reader is interfaced with the microcontroller and RFID tag is attached to each and every good package. When the goods are moving on the trolley with the RFID tags attached to every product are decoded by the RFID reader interfaced to the microcontroller and display the bill and product name on LCD along with buzzer.

The project consists of RFID module, LCD display and Arduino Nano microcontroller. The input module is the RFID reader which gives the information of the product when it decodes the RFID tag of the product, this information is displayed on the LCD. The output module is LCD. When the RFID tag of the product is decoded by the RFID reader, the system and continuously monitors. The entire data related to goods are stored in the microcontroller and also displays on LCD along with buzzer.

This application is very useful in big shopping malls to store data of all the products in the departmental stores, and to display on LCD using RFID technology.

This project makes use of an onboard computer, which is commonly termed as micro controller. It acts as heart of the project. This Arduino can efficiently communicate with the output and input modules which are being used. The controller is provided with some internal memory to hold the code. This memory is used to dump some set of assembly instructions into the controller. And the functioning of the controller is dependent on these assembly instructions.

This ensures a smooth inventory management. The integrated system is built around microcontroller and has a 16×2 LCD display unit and miscellaneous circuit including power supply. The Microcontroller is programmed using Embedded C language which provides effective environment for performing the task of the project.
