This project presents the design and development of an Omni-Wheel Robot using an ESP32 microcontroller for both manual and automatic operation.

This project presents the design and development of an Omni-Wheel Robot using an ESP32 microcontroller for both manual and automatic operation. The robot can be controlled wirelessly through Bluetooth voice commands and the Blynk mobile application, providing easy and flexible navigation.

The robot uses three omni wheels for smooth movement in all directions without changing its orientation. A servo-mounted ultrasonic sensor detects obstacles and automatically changes the robot’s direction to avoid collisions. Dual L298 motor drivers are used to control the DC motors efficiently.

In manual mode, the robot can be controlled using voice commands or the Blynk app. In automatic mode, the ultrasonic sensor continuously detects obstacles; upon encountering an object, the robot intelligently avoids it by changing direction (typically turning left) and continues its movement. An MQ gas sensor continuously monitors the surrounding air for harmful gases. If gas is detected above the preset level, a buzzer is activated to alert nearby users. This combination of wireless control, obstacle avoidance, gas detection, and real-time alerts makes the robot suitable for industrial monitoring, warehouse inspection, and smart surveillance applications.

This project presents an intelligent IoT-based Fire and Gas Leakage Alerting System built around the NodeMCU ESP8266, designed to enhance safety in residential and industrial environments.

This project presents an intelligent IoT-based Fire and Gas Leakage Alerting System built around the NodeMCU ESP8266, designed to enhance safety in residential and industrial environments. The system integrates fire and gas sensors with real-time monitoring, alerting, and cloud data logging capabilities.

The proposed system uses a flame sensor to detect fire and an MQ-2 Gas Sensor to monitor the presence of hazardous gases such as LPG, methane, and smoke. These sensors continuously send data to the NodeMCU, which processes the inputs and determines if abnormal conditions are present.

When a fire or gas leak is detected, the system immediately activates a buzzer to provide a local audible alert. Simultaneously, it sends an email notification to the user through internet connectivity enabled by the NodeMCU’s built-in Wi-Fi module. Sensor readings and system status are displayed in real time on an LCD module for local monitoring.

In addition, the system uploads sensor data to the WEB, enabling remote monitoring, data visualization, and historical analysis. This allows users to track environmental conditions from anywhere and take preventive action when necessary.

The system is cost-effective, compact, and easy to deploy, making it suitable for homes, laboratories, and industrial setups. By combining real-time detection, instant alerts, and cloud integration, this project significantly improves safety and response time in case of fire or gas leakage incidents.

Coal mines are hazardous environments where workers are exposed to dangerous gases, temperature variations, and possible water accumulation.

Coal mines are hazardous environments where workers are exposed to dangerous gases, temperature variations, and possible water accumulation. Continuous monitoring of these parameters is essential to ensure worker safety and prevent accidents. This project presents an IoT-Based Coal Mine Safety Monitoring System designed using an ESP32 microcontroller as the central controller to monitor environmental conditions inside mines in real time.

The system integrates multiple sensors including the MQ-2 gas sensor for detecting harmful gases, the BMP180 sensor for measuring temperature, altitude, and air pressure, and a soil moisture sensor to monitor water level conditions in the mine. The collected sensor data is processed by the ESP32 and transmitted through its built-in Wi-Fi module to the ThingSpeak cloud platform for remote monitoring and data analysis.

For local alerts and safety actions, the system uses red and green LED indicators, a buzzer, and an I2C LCD display. Under normal environmental conditions, the green LED indicates safe operation. When abnormal conditions such as Gas leakage, high temperature, or water presence are detected, the system activates the red LED and buzzer to warn workers immediately. Additionally, a relay-controlled DC fan is automatically turned ON when the temperature rises beyond the safe limit to improve ventilation.

This IoT-based monitoring system provides real-time safety alerts, remote monitoring capability, and automatic response mechanisms, helping to reduce risks in coal mining environments. The proposed system enhances worker safety, enables early hazard detection, and contributes to the development of smart and safer mining operations.

The Automatic LPG Gas Detection and Alerting System is designed to detect Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) leakage and provide timely alerts to prevent accidents and ensure safety.

The Automatic LPG Gas Detection and Alerting System is designed to detect Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) leakage and provide timely alerts to prevent accidents and ensure safety. The system uses an LPG gas sensor connected to an Arduino Uno microcontroller to continuously monitor the concentration of LPG in the surrounding environment. Based on the detected gas level, the system provides three levels of indication using LEDs. During normal conditions, the green LED glows, indicating a safe environment. When a small amount of LPG leakage is detected, the yellow LED turns ON to provide a warning indication along with Buzzer. If the LPG concentration exceeds the predefined safety limit, the red LED glows and a buzzer is activated simultaneously to provide a high-alert warning.

The proposed system offers a simple, reliable, and cost-effective solution for LPG leak detection in homes, restaurants, laboratories, and industrial environments. By providing real-time monitoring and immediate visual and audible alerts, the system helps prevent fire hazards, explosions, and health risks caused by LPG leakage, thereby enhancing overall safety and protection.

Fire accidents in residential, industrial, and commercial environments can cause severe damage to property and human life if not detected and controlled at an early stage

Fire accidents in residential, industrial, and commercial environments can cause severe damage to property and human life if not detected and controlled at an early stage. To address this issue, an Automatic 360° Fire Extinguisher System using ThingSpeak and an ESP32 is proposed for rapid fire detection, monitoring, and suppression.

The system uses multiple sensors including four flame sensors positioned in four directions, a gas sensor, and a temperature sensor to continuously monitor the surrounding environment. These sensors send real-time data to the ESP32 microcontroller, which processes the information to detect the presence and location of fire. Once a fire is detected, the system automatically rotates a stepper motor controlled through a ULN2003 driver, enabling a 360-degree scanning and targeting mechanism to locate the fire source and a servo motor is used to adjust the direction of the water pump.

After identifying the direction of the fire, the ESP32 activates a relay-controlled DC water pump to spray water toward the affected area to extinguish the flames. Simultaneously, a buzzer alert is triggered to notify nearby people. The system also displays status information such as sensor readings and fire alerts on an LCD display for local monitoring.

In addition, the ESP32 sends real-time data such as temperature, Gas and fire detection status to the IoT cloud platform ThingSpeak, allowing users to remotely monitor the system through the internet. This enables quick response and continuous supervision from anywhere.

The proposed system provides automatic detection, precise fire localization, rapid extinguishing, and remote monitoring, making it a reliable and cost-effective solution for improving fire safety in homes, laboratories, industries, and warehouses.

To rotate the extinguisher mechanism using a stepper motor for 360° coverage.

To automatically activate a water pump to extinguish fire.

To provide audio alert using a buzzer during fire detection.

This project presents a Smart Industrial Safety Monitoring System using Machine Learning, designed to monitor critical environmental conditions and provide real-time analysis and forecasting.

Industrial environments are highly prone to safety hazards due to the presence of harmful gases, abnormal temperature and humidity conditions, and mechanical vibrations. Continuous monitoring and early prediction of such parameters are essential to prevent accidents and ensure worker safety. This project presents a Smart Industrial Safety Monitoring System using Machine Learning, designed to monitor critical environmental conditions and provide real-time analysis and forecasting.

The proposed system integrates multiple sensors, including a CO₂ sensor capable of measuring CO₂ concentration and Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC), a DHT11 sensor for temperature and humidity, a gas sensor for detecting hazardous gases, and a vibration sensor for identifying abnormal mechanical activity. These sensors are interfaced with an Arduino Nano, which collects and preprocesses the sensor data. The processed data is then transmitted to a Raspberry Pi 3 A+, which acts as the central processing and communication unit.

All sensor data is uploaded to the webpage for real-time storage, visualization, and remote monitoring. A local LCD display provides on-site visualization of the current environmental conditions. Machine learning algorithms are applied to the historical sensor data stored in the cloud to analyze patterns, detect anomalies, and forecast potential hazardous situations before they occur.

By combining IoT, web monitoring and machine learning, the proposed system enhances industrial safety through continuous monitoring, intelligent data analysis, and predictive decision-making. This system is scalable, cost-effective, and suitable for deployment in various industrial environments to reduce risks, improve operational safety, and support proactive maintenance strategies.

The main aim of the project is to developing a combustible GAS detection and alerting system using PIC Microcontroller. The system alerts the person through buzzer and SMS. Now a day’s every system is automated in order to face new challenges. In present day, Automated systems have less manual operations, flexibility, reliability and accurate. Due to this demand every field prefers automated control systems. Especially in the field of electronics automated systems are giving good performance.

The main controlling device of the project is PIC Microcontroller. Gas sensor, GSM, Buzzer and LCD module are interfaced to the controller. The controller receiving the data from GAS sensor will be displayed on the LCD. When the GAS sensor detect the GAS, microcontroller will send the SMS alerts to the predefine mobile number through GSM and gives an audible alert through Buzzer. The Microcontroller is loaded with a program written in embedded ‘C’ language to perform the task.

The project “GAS LEAKAGE ALERTING SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIES” itself indicates that whenever any leakage of dangerous gases occurs in the industries so that it will indicate through the buzzer.

Now a day’s every system is automated in order to face new challenges. In the present days Automated systems have less manual operations, flexibility, reliability and accurate. Due to this demand every field prefers automated control systems. Especially in the field of electronics automated systems are giving good performance.

This project is useful in industries. The project “GAS LEAKAGE ALERTING SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIES” itself indicates that whenever any leakage of dangerous gases occurs in the industries so that it will indicate through the buzzer. In this project we are using the LPG/CO Carbon Mono-oxide sensor that finds the leakage of gases in an industry. This project is designed around a microcontroller which forms the control unit of the project.

The microcontroller gets the information regarding the leakage of any gas through the gas sensor and alerts about the condition being sensed using Buzzer. By this way we can take the prevention steps before occurring the major fire accidents and we can avoid the human losses and financial losses.

This project Features are:

High sensitivity LPG, iso-butane, propane
