<p>The GPS is the acronym for Global positioning system. This GPS receiver is capable of identifying the location in which it was present in the form of latitude and longitudes. The GPS gives the data received from the satellites. For this information the GPS communicates with at least three satellites in the space. The GSM modem provides the communication mechanism between the user and the microcontroller system in the form of SMS.</p>
<p>The main controlling device of the project is Arduino. If the vehicle gets any accident; Arduino will send the alert SMS along with vehicle location to the predefine mobile number. then Arduino will activate the buzzer for alerts. The status of the project will display on LCD module.</p>
<p>The main controlling device of the project is arduino which is interfaced to the input and output modules and take the necessary action upon the situation. The Microcontroller is loaded with a program written in embedded ‘C’ language to perform the task.</p>
