The project aims in designing a system which makes operating of electrical appliances in home through Android mobile phone using IOT. Here in this project the Android smart phone is used as a remote control for operating the electrical appliances through KNE APP.
Wi-Fi (Short for Wireless Fidelity) is a wireless technology that uses radio frequency to transmit data through the air. Wi-Fi has initial speeds of 1mbps to 2mbps. Wi-Fi transmits data in the frequency band of 2.4 GHz. It implements the concept of frequency division multiplexing technology. Range of Wi-Fi technology is 40-300 feet.
The controlling device of the whole system is an NpdeMCU which has an inbuilt Wi-Fi and Relay along with FOUR DEVICES are interfaced to the NodeMCU. The data received from smart phone is fed as input to the NodeMCU. Then the microcontroller acts accordingly on the Relays to switch connected electrical appliances.
