The Smart Wheelchair with Bluetooth Controlling project is designed to help physically challenged people, especially individuals with leg disabilities or amputations, move independently with minimum physical effort. The proposed system uses Bluetooth wireless technology and an Android mobile application to control the movement of the wheelchair easily and conveniently.
This project uses a microcontroller as the main control unit, which is programmed using Embedded C. The Bluetooth module receives commands from the Android application and sends them to the microcontroller. Based on the received commands, the microcontroller controls two DC motors connected to the wheelchair to move in Forward, Reverse, Left, and Right directions. The system provides simple and wireless operation, reducing the need for manual effort. Overall, this project aims to improve the mobility, independence, comfort, and quality of life of physically challenged people through an affordable and user-friendly wheelchair control system.
