HVS-2788. Voice Controlled Home Automation System

4,000.00

The project is designed to control electrical appliances through voice commands using an Android smartphone.

The project is designed to control electrical appliances through voice commands using an Android smartphone. The commands are transmitted wirelessly through Bluetooth to a microcontroller, which processes the commands and controls the connected appliances through relays. The system uses a Bluetooth module, microcontroller, relay board, and LCD. The controller switches the appliances ON/OFF according to the received voice commands, while the LCD displays their status. This provides a simple, convenient, and wireless method for controlling home appliances. In achieving the task, the controller is loaded with a program written using Embedded ‘C’ language.

The main objectives of the project are:
  1. Operating the loads through voice by using mobile phone.
  2. Bluetooth wireless transmission.
  3. Visible monitoring using LCD display.
  4. Using PIC MICROCONTROLLER to achieve this task.

The major building blocks of the project are:
  • Regulated power supply with voltage regulator.
  • Bluetooth module.
  • PIC Microcontroller
  • 2-Relay board
  • LCD display.
  • Reset
  • Crystal Oscillator
  • LED indicators
  • Android mobile.

Software’s used:
  1. PIC-C compiler for Embedded C programming.
  2. PIC kit 2 programmer for dumping code into Micro controller.
  3. Express SCH for Circuit design.
