The main aim of this project is to develop an IoT-based Water Quality Monitoring System for continuous monitoring of important water quality parameters in real time. Water quality is determined by various physical and chemical parameters, and continuous monitoring is essential for identifying contamination and maintaining water suitability for different applications. The proposed system uses an Arduino controller to collect and process data from a temperature sensor, pH sensor, EC (Electrical Conductivity) sensor, and turbidity sensor. The measured parameters are displayed locally on an LCD display for easy observation. A Wi-Fi module is used to transmit the sensor data to the ThingSpeak IoT cloud platform, where the parameters are continuously uploaded and plotted as graphical data for remote monitoring and analysis. The system enables users to observe changes in water temperature, pH, electrical conductivity, and turbidity from anywhere through the internet. This proposed system provides a low-cost, real-time, and efficient solution for water quality monitoring, reducing the need for frequent manual testing and helping users identify abnormal water conditions at an early stage.
