The main aim of this project is to design and implement solar based robot which can be operated wirelessly using RF communication.
RF Communication ranges in between 30 KHz to 300 GHz. RF communication works by creating electromagnetic waves at a source and being able to pick up those electromagnetic waves at a particular destination. These electromagnetic waves travel through the air at near the speed of light. The wavelength of an electromagnetic signal is inversely proportional to the frequency; the higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength.
In the below block diagram, you find two figures 1Robot section 2Remote section. In Rx section a solar panel is used to convert the solar power to electrical power. With electrical power we charge the battery. Motor driver controller is used control the direction of the robot based on the key received from the Remote section. This system works continuously without any interruption. The battery voltage can be displayed on LCD display.
