The project aims in designing a system for physically handicapped using MEMS technology for the directions of the car to move left and right directions etc. The person who is driving car will be equipped with a device which is placed around the neck of the person who is driving the car which is helpful to move the steering forward and reverse direction without any physical or mental stress. The project uses 2 dc motors to drive the prototype of car. Also, this car can take sharp turnings towards left and right directions. PIC microcontroller is an advanced version of microcontroller and forms the heart of the system.   Now-a-days transportation has become great difficulty to the individual to reach the destination on time; everyone is having their own vehicle. And the people with all body parts are fortunate but when it comes to physically challenged people it’s very unfortunate that the people with partially disabled with hands can’t drive vehicle with the help of steering. In the Buses or Trains, they are provided with minimum reservation and which will be very disappointing and they also don’t dare to buy a vehicle and assist with a driver which will cost a lot. So, this project will be a great solution for them. In this project we make use of a MEMS sensor Micro controller and dc motors. MEMS that are connected to the Microcontroller based control system. The microcontroller automatically takes the information from mems and the direction of car takes its path.  This process continues till mems will get tilted.

Features:
  1. Easy for physically handicapped.
  2. Mems to give directions.
  3. Dc Motor with drivers.

The major building blocks of this project are:
  1. Regulated Power Supply.
  2. PIC Microcontroller.
  3. MEM sensor.
  4. DC Motor with L293d drivers.
  5. LED indicators.
  6. Reset Button.
  7. Crystal oscillator.
      Software’s used:
  1. PIC-C compiler for Embedded C programming.
  2. PIC kit 2 programmer for dumping code into Micro controller.
  3. Express SCH for Circuit design.
