HVS-1180. Human Body Temperature and Heart Rate Monitoring on LCD display.

4,000.00

This project presents a Heart Beat and Body Temperature Monitoring System for elderly people using a microcontroller.

This project presents a Heart Beat and Body Temperature Monitoring System for elderly people using a microcontroller. The system continuously measures the patient's heart rate and body temperature using a heartbeat sensor and temperature sensor. The measured values are displayed on an LCD for real-time monitoring. If the heart rate or body temperature rises above or falls below the preset safe limits, the microcontroller activates a buzzer to provide an immediate alert. This enables timely medical attention during emergency situations. The system is simple, portable, reliable, and cost-effective, making it suitable for home healthcare, hospitals, and clinics for continuous health monitoring.

The main objective of this project is:
  • To continuously monitor the patient's heart rate and body temperature and display the readings on an LCD.
  • To provide an immediate buzzer alert when the heart rate or body temperature exceeds or falls below the preset safe limits.
The major building blocks of this project are:
  1. Regulated power supply.
  2. PIC Micro controller.
  3. Heart beat sensor.
  4. Temperature sensor.
  5. LCD with driver.
  6. Reset Button.
  7. Buzzer with driver
  8. Crystal
  9. LED indicators.
        Software’s used:
  1. PIC-C compiler for Embedded C programming.
  2. PIC kit 2 programmer for dumping code into Micro controller.
  3. Express SCH for Circuit design.
