This project presents the design and development of a Smart Rescue Robot for Human Detection using IR Remote Control.
ï‚·Â To design and develop a compact rescue robot using an Arduino Nano as the main control unit.
ï‚·Â To enable wireless control of the robot using an IR remote through the TSOP1738 IR Receiver for movement in forward, backward, left, and right directions.
ï‚·Â To implement human detection using a PIR Sensor based on body heat sensing.
ï‚·Â To provide an alert system using a buzzer when human presence is detected.
 To control the robot’s movement efficiently using an L298 Motor Driver and DC motors.
ï‚·Â To ensure portability and continuous operation using a rechargeable battery.
ï‚·Â To develop a low-cost and user-friendly rescue system for disaster management and surveillance applications.
ï‚·Â To improve safety and reduce human effort in searching for victims in hazardous environments.
The major building blocks of the project are:- Battery.
