The main aim of the project is to fabricate a solar operated thermoelectric air conditioner. This project can be powered up by using solar.   In our project main use of solar power which is nature’s free gift is used to drive this air conditioning system. The solar energy is converted into electrical energy through solar panel which is can be used to charge the battery. As the electric current is given to the thermoelectric module due to Peltier effect temperature difference occurs. The blowers extract the heat from the cold side and the cold air is circulated in the conditioned space. So basically, this is a year-round air-conditioning which can be used for many purposes. Solar energy-based temperature-controlled chamber is presented in this project. Using the Peltier module, the temperature-controlled chamber (room) is utilized for cooling. This project consists of fan to spread the cool air into the chamber. DHT11 is uses to measure the temperature and humidity of room and will be display on LCD display. Microcontroller will control the air purifier with filters. By using POT user can set the temperature limit of the room. Thermo electric plate works with peltier effect, On applying DC using battery, the array of pellet having positive and negative charge carriers absorb heat energy from one substrate and eventually release it to the substrate at opposite side. In this process, cold surface appeared due to absorption of heat energy. This absorbed heat energy is being released to the opposite surface, becomes hot. Exhaust fan is attached to the system to spread the cooling to the surroundings.

The objectives of the project include:
  1. Usage of solar energy for air conditioning system.
  2. Usage of thermo electric Peltier plates.
The major building blocks of this project are:
  1. Li-ion Battery.
  2. PIC Micro controller.
  3. Solar Panel.
  4. Charging circuit.
  5. DHT11 (Temperature and humidity sensor).
  6. POT.
  7. Exhaust Fan.
  8. Room (Chamber).
  9. LCD display.
  10. Thermo electric plate.
  11. Air purifier filter.
  12. Crystal oscillator.
  13. Reset button.
  14. LED indicator.
      Software’s used:
