This project presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based college notice board using a P10 LED display for real-time information dissemination. The system enables wireless communication between an Android mobile device and the display unit through a Wi-Fi module. An Arduino Uno, acts as the main control unit, processing incoming data and updating the LED display accordingly.
The user can send messages or notices via a mobile application, which are transmitted over the internet and received by the Wi-Fi module. These messages are then displayed on the P10 LED matrix in a scrolling or static format, ensuring visibility and ease of reading. The system is powered using regulated adapter power supplies to ensure stable operation of all components.
This solution eliminates the need for manual notice updates, reduces paper usage, and enables instant communication across the campus. It is cost-effective, energy-efficient, and highly scalable, making it suitable for educational institutions and public information systems.
The main objectives of the project are:
Â
video:
- Message input is through text commands from an android phone.
