This project involves designing a miniature wind turbine system using Havells blades, a gearbox, a DC generator, a charging circuit, rechargeable batteries, and an ON/OFF switch to power LEDs. The wind turbine blades capture wind energy, which is then converted into mechanical energy and transmitted through a gearbox to the DC generator, generating electricity. The charging circuit regulates the voltage to safely charge a rechargeable battery, which stores the energy. The stored power is used to light LEDs, with an ON/OFF switch enabling control of the LED circuit. This project serves as an educational model to demonstrate renewable energy generation and storage in a compact and functional setup.       Objectives:
  • Generate electricity using wind energy through a miniature wind turbine.
  • Convert wind energy into electrical energy using a DC generator.
  • Use a gearbox to improve the efficiency of power generation.
  • Store the generated energy in a rechargeable battery.
  • Regulate battery charging using a charging circuit.
  • Power LEDs using the stored electrical energy.
  • Provide ON/OFF control for the LED load.
  • Demonstrate the principles of renewable energy generation and storage.
  • Promote awareness of clean and sustainable energy sources.
  • Develop a compact and low-cost educational wind energy model.
The major building blocks of this project are:
  • Wind Turbine With Havells Blades.
  • Gear Box, DC Generator.
  • Charging Circuit.
  • Rechargeable Battery.
  • Switch.
  • LEDs.
