In power distribution systems, ensuring a continuous and stable power supply is crucial for industrial and domestic applications. This project proposes an Automatic Phase Shifting Mechanism that seamlessly switches between single-phase and three-phase power sources using an Arduino-controlled servo motor. The system continuously monitors the availability of three-phase power and automatically shifts the supply to single-phase and vice versa. To enhance user awareness, the system integrates a Buzzer that provides an audible alert whenever a phase shift occurs. Additionally, a GSM module is used to send real-time SMS alerts, notifying users of phase changes, such as:
  • "Phase changed from Single Phase to Three Phase."
  • "Phase changed from Three Phase to Single Phase."
An LCD display is included for real-time status monitoring, while a regulated power supply ensures stable operation of the control system. This automation reduces manual intervention, improves power reliability, and provides real-time remote monitoring, making it an efficient solution for critical power-dependent environments.

  • Ensure continuous power supply by automatically switching between single-phase and three-phase power.

  • Automatically control phase switching using an Arduino and servo motor.
