HVS-4827. Solar Light Pole with MPPT and Solar Tracking System using PIC Microcontroller

16,000.00

This project develops an intelligent solar street lighting system using MPPT and solar tracking techniques for maximum energy utilization. The PIC microcontroller monitors solar voltage, battery voltage, PWM percentage, and Day/Night mode while automatically controlling battery charging and street light operation.

The project “Solar Light Pole with MPPT and Solar Tracking System using PIC Microcontroller” is designed to improve the efficiency of solar-powered street lighting by using solar tracking and Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques. The system uses two LDR sensors to track the maximum sunlight direction automatically, which helps the solar panel generate more power throughout the day. A PIC microcontroller controls the complete operation of the system including solar tracking, battery charging, and street light switching. The MPPT charging circuit increases charging efficiency by extracting maximum power from the solar panel and charging the rechargeable battery effectively. The system continuously monitors solar panel voltage, battery voltage, PWM signal percentage, and operating mode (Day/Night mode). These parameters are displayed on the LCD display for real-time monitoring. During daytime, the street light remains OFF and the battery charges through the solar panel, while during nighttime the street light automatically turns ON using LDR-based sensing. The project provides an intelligent, energy-saving, and eco-friendly solution for automatic solar street lighting applications.
