This project presents a surveillance robot designed to detect unregistered faces and environmental hazards using an Arduino Nano microcontroller. The system integrates an ESP32-CAM module for facial recognition and live video streaming, which is accessible via a webpage for remote monitoring. The robot is equipped with fire and metal sensors to detect potential threats, enhancing security measures. The Arduino Nano serves as the central controller, processing sensor data and managing various components, including DC motors controlled via a motor driver for mobility. When unauthorized faces or hazards are detected, the system activates alert mechanisms such as a buzzer and LED indicator to notify security personnel. Powered by a 3.7V Li-ion battery, the surveillance robot offers an efficient, real-time monitoring solution for restricted or high-security areas.

Objectives of the project:
  • Design a multiple application surveillance robot.
  • It can be detecting the fire using fire sensor.
  • It can be detecting the bombs using metal detection sensor.
  • It can be sending the live video into the WEB browser using ESP32 Camera.
  • Bomb and fire detection alert in the form of buzzer.
  • Using IOT technology.
The major building blocks of the project are:
  • Battery power supply.
  • Arduino nano.
  • ESP32 camera module.
  • Metal Detection Sensor.
  • Fire sensor.
  • DC motors with L293d.
  • Buzzer.
  • LED indications.
    Software’s used:
  • Embedded C programming.
  • Arduino IDE programmer for dumping code into Micro controller.
  • Express SCH for Circuit design.
  • IOT technology.
