Women’s safety has become a major concern in modern society, creating the need for advanced and reliable security systems

Women’s safety has become a major concern in modern society, creating the need for advanced and reliable security systems. This project presents an IoT-based Women Safety Wearable Device using Arduino Nano integrated with GPS, GSM, ESP32 Camera, heartbeat sensor, temperature sensor, fall detection sensor, OLED display, panic switch, and geo-fencing technology. The system is designed to provide enhanced safety and real-time emergency support for women through continuous monitoring and instant alert mechanisms. The Arduino Nano acts as the main controlling unit, interfacing with all input and output modules. GPS technology is used to track the live location of the user, while GSM communication sends emergency alert messages to predefined mobile numbers during critical situations. An ESP32 camera module captures images and sends them through email using IoT technology for additional security evidence. The system continuously monitors heart rate, body temperature, and fall detection status to identify abnormal conditions automatically. A panic switch is provided for manual emergency activation. In addition, geo-fencing technology is implemented to define a virtual safe zone using GPS coordinates. Whenever the user moves outside the predefined boundary, the system automatically triggers an alert and sends the current location details to emergency contacts. The status and sensor readings are displayed on an OLED display for user awareness. If the panic button is pressed, abnormal health conditions are detected, a fall occurs, or the geo-fenced area is breached, the system immediately sends alert notifications along with live location details through the GSM module. Simultaneously, the ESP32 camera captures images and sends them via email to predefined contacts for enhanced security monitoring. The complete system is programmed using embedded C language and offers a compact, wearable, and intelligent safety solution for women. By integrating IoT, health monitoring, geo-fencing, and emergency communication, the project provides both preventive and reactive security measures for improved personal safety.
