The patient health monitoring system is designed to continuously track vital health parameters using Arduino UNO and various biomedical sensors. The system integrates the MAX30102 sensor for heartbeat and SpO2 measurement, the MLX90614 infrared sensor for body temperature detection, a digital blood pressure (BP) sensor, and the AD8232 ECG sensor for cardiac monitoring. The Arduino UNO microcontroller collects real-time data from these sensors and displays the results through the serial monitor for numerical values and the serial plotter for graphical visualization, such as ECG signals. This low-cost, efficient, and user-friendly system enables continuous health observation, which is highly beneficial for remote patient care, early diagnosis, and emergency monitoring applications. It serves as a reliable tool for doctors, caregivers, and patients, promoting improved healthcare management through real-time data monitoring and analysis.
The main objectives of the project are:
video:
ï‚· To design a real-time patient health monitoring system using Arduino UNO and biomedical sensors.
ï‚· To measure and monitor vital health parameters such as heartbeat, SpO2, body temperature, blood pressure, and ECG.
ï‚· To display sensor readings on the Arduino serial, monitor for numerical data visualization.
ï‚· To plot ECG signals in real time using the Arduino serial plotter for better analysis.
ï‚· To create a low-cost and efficient solution for continuous patient health monitoring.
The major building blocks of the project are: Â- Power Supply.
- Two Arduino UNO Modules.
- MLX90614 Temperature sensor.
- MAX30102(heartbeat&spo2) sensor.
- Digital BP sensor.
- AD8232 ECG module.
