HVS-4686. Non-Invasive Glucometer Realtime Accurate with IoT

11,500.00

This project proposes a novel approach using a combination of hardware components and cloud-based services for real-time glucose monitoring.

Noninvasive glucose concentration measurement systems have garnered significant interest due to their potential to revolutionize diabetes management by eliminating the need for frequent finger-prick tests. This project proposes a novel approach using a combination of hardware components and cloud-based services for real-time glucose monitoring. The system utilizes an Arduino UNO microcontroller as the central processing unit, interfaced with a Near-Infrared (NIR) module for noninvasive glucose measurements. Power is supplied to the system through a reliable power supply unit, ensuring continuous operation. An LCD display provides local visualization of glucose readings, enhancing user accessibility. To enable remote monitoring and data logging, a Wi-Fi module is integrated, allowing seamless connectivity to the internet and Thingspeak platform. Thingspeak serves as a cloud-based repository for storing glucose data, enabling users and healthcare providers to access historical trends and receive alerts. This project aims to develop a cost-effective, user-friendly noninvasive glucose monitoring system that enhances diabetes management by providing real-time data visibility and reducing the discomfort associated with traditional glucose testing methods. Future iterations will focus on improving measurement accuracy and expanding the system's connectivity features to support broader healthcare applications.
