The project aims in designing a “Robot to rescue of a child in a borehole” which is capable of moving inside the pipe according to the user commands given from mobile while seeing the video using esp32 camera. This project consists of robotic arm to pick up the child from borehole and it has high power LED which acts as a light source inside the pipe and also Gas detection and aletiong through buzzer.

The project aims at designing a “Robot for the Rescue of a Child in a Borehole”, which is capable of moving inside a pipe according to user commands given via a mobile device while viewing live video using an ESP32-CAM. The robot system is equipped with a robotic arm to pick up the child from the borehole and features a high-power LED to serve as a light source in the dark environment inside the pipe.

To enhance safety, the robot is also integrated with a gas sensor to detect the presence of hazardous gases within the borehole. If the robot detects the Gas, it will activate the Buzzer for alerts. This ensures early identification of dangerous conditions, allowing the operator to take necessary precautions during the rescue operation.

The controlling device for the entire system is the ESP32-CAM module. When the user sends commands through a web browser, the ESP32-CAM, which has inbuilt Wi-Fi, receives the data, interprets the instructions, and controls the robot’s movement and robotic arm accordingly. The live video feed from the camera is streamed to the user’s mobile device, allowing real-time monitoring and control of the robot and arm through the web interface.

  The objectives of the project include:
  1. Controlling robot from web browser.
  2. Live video can be seen on mobile.
  3. Automatic GAS detection and alerting system.
  4. Implementation of pick and place concept to the robot.
  5. Using IOT technology to control the robot.
    The major building blocks of this project are:
